A $9.2 million expansion of Pyroil Corporation's Valvoline Oil operation in Hernando is among many business and industry expansions in the DeSoto County seat, defying the national trend of layoffs and scaled-down operations.

Expansion plans include a 40,000 square-foot warehouse and at least $5 million in new industrial machinery needed in production of the products. >> more info
